My first blog post and some other blogs I recommend
After years reading other people’s blogs, I have finally decided to buckle up and start writing my own blog, with the hope of practicing and (hopefully) improving my writing skills.
For this first post, I would like to share some blogs that I have been reading and that have inspired me to start my own blog:
- Jay Alammar’s blog He has some great visualizations (you might know him from the famous “The Illustrated Transformer” post).
- Chip Huyen’s blog She has some great posts about machine learning and software engineering.
- Eugene Yan’s blog Mostly ML stuff, but also some great posts about writing and learning.
- Herberto Graca’s blog: It has a great series of posts about clean architecture and Domain-Driven Design.
- Julia Evans’ blog Mostly about programming and debugging.
- Colah’s blog: Great visualizations and explanations of machine learning concepts.
- Oxen Technology’s blog: They have a series of arXiv dives that are great to keep up with the latest research in machine learning.
- Count Bayesie’s blog: Bayesian statistics and machine learning.
- Sebastian Ruder’s blog: Mostly about NLP and machine learning.
Extras (not blogs, but great resources):
- Distill: No need to introduce this one, right? The downside is that it is no longer updated.
- Hackernews: Great for keeping up with the latest news in tech and machine learning.
- Arxiv Sanity Preserver: Great for keeping up with the latest research in machine learning.
I am not sure what I will be writing about going forward, but I am sure it will be a mix of random thoughts, technical stuff, and maybe some personal experiences. I hope you enjoy it!
